Abstract
- Tinnitus is the abnormal perception of sound in the absence of external sound stimuli. However, the precise mechanisms underlying tinnitus especially on the gene susceptibility remain unclear. Recently, several studies have suggested that the inferior colliculus (IC) may be involved in noise-induced tinnitus.
