Abstract
- The T2★of hexainethylenetetramine, C6H12N4, and sodium nitrite, NaNO2, at 297°K and 77°K, and of 4-methoxy analine, C5H9NO, at 297°K are reported. Two different nitrogen super-regenerative N.Q.R. spectrometers were used. Two different techniques for obtaining T2★were used: one measured the shift in signal detection threshold quench frequency with changing sample mass; the other measured the change in signal intensity for a small change of quench frequency near threshold. The importance of quench frequency studies and spectrometer construction for signal detection are discussed.
