Trace element (TE) release from the nickel- chromium alloy for ceramic denture under in vitro conditions of imitating oral saliva and dental plaque

Co, Fe, Zn, Ni and Cr are released from the nickel- chromium dental alloy. Iron and copper release was not declared by the manufacturer although they maz affect the life span of dental alloy in the oral cavity. Co, Ni, and Cr have a considerable allergogenic potential.
