Abstract
- Effectiveness of low-pressure plasma for modification and functionalization of cellulose Lyocell fabrics by deposition process of organosilicone/Ag compounds to achieving of antibacterial activity was explored in paper. In the first part of the study, the influence of oxygen plasma activation process on surface properties was determined. The second part includes application of silver nitrate solution (AgNO3) in combination with hexamethyldisiloxane (C6H18OSi ; HMDSO) by PE- CVD (plasma enchanced-chemical vapour deposition) process for surface functionalisation and achieving antibacterial activity of treated cellulose based material.
