Abstract

A typical example of the Helminthopsis ichnogulld formed by deep deposit-feeder tiers is presented from an Upper Ordovician shallow marine succession in Central Spain. The monospecific ichnoassociation is composed by Helminthopsis abeli Ksiazkiewicz, massively recorded from a single bed within a sillciclastic alternation with some storm influence ofCaradoc age, in the lower part of the "Bancos Mixtos" Formation, south of the town of Torrenueva (Province of Ciudad Real)
