Abstract

The isotopic features of lacustrine carbonates form three Tertiary basins of Spain are compared. In the Campins and Bicorp basins the and values of the lacustrine carbonates display different clusters that are related to the carbonate mineralogy. The stable isotope data of the primary carbonate minerals of Campins and Bicorp basins (Taking into account the normalization of the dolomite with respect to calcite) show an approximate covariante trend between and , suggesting that the basin does not show differential clustering and there is no correlation between the main three carbonate minerals (Calcite, Mg-calciete and aragonite) and the evaporation degree deduced form the values
