An interpellating desire: subverting the moral norms of masculine erogenia

El trabajo se propone investigar la filmografía del cineasta argentino Marco Berger analizando especialmente el tema que caracteriza su producción. Considerando principalmente un indicador comentativo recurrente en casi todos sus filmes, el “plano Berger”, se indaga la relación que esta marca enunciativa tiene con la totalidad del relato, haciendo posible una lectura del significado implícito que atraviesa toda la obra. El mismo se caracteriza por el cuestionamiento de los ideales que correlacionan sexo, deseo y género dentro de la masculinidad. A partir de una interpelación al deseo de los personajes masculinos, los relatos señalan una grieta de inadecuación, anormalidad, ilegibilidad e imposibilidad entre ese deseo emergente, el sexo y la expresión de género propia del personaje interpelado por esos deseos disidentes y problemáticos que los filmes despliegan. The purpose of this work is to analyze Argentine film director Marco Berger’s filmography paying particular attention to the subject that characterizes his work. Considering “the Berger shot” an indicator of recurring commentary in nearly all his films, the relation that this declarative mark has with the totality of the story is closely studied, making the reading of the implicit meaning that runs through his work possible. This is characterized by the questioning of the ideals found in masculinity that correlate sex, desire and gender. Stemming from an appeal to the desire of the masculine characters, the stories indicate a crack of unsuitability, abnormality, illegibility and impossibility between that emerging desire, sex and the expression of gender proper to the character by those dissident and problematic desires that films unveil.
