ESTUDO EXPLORATÓRIO: PRÁTICAS EDUCATIVAS DO ESTABELECIMENTO PRISIONAL DE COIMBRA E CENTRO EDUCATIVO DOS OLIVAIS: A EDUCAÇÃO COMO OBJETO DE REINSERÇÃO SOCIAL

Dissertação de Mestrado em Educação e Formação de Adultos e Intervenção Comunitária apresentada à Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação O presente estudo procura descrever o funcionamento das prisões, nomeadamente do EPC e do CEO. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório e de um estudo de caso, sendo que o método adotado é cariz qualitativo, tendo-se recorrido à entrevista semi-estruturada como único meio de recolha de dados. No estudo, participaram duas pessoas: um ex-recluso do EPC e a direção do CEO. Os resultados permitem concluir que apesar dos EPs investirem na ressocialização dos reclusos, a verdade é que ainda existe um longo caminho a percorrer e são várias as falhas encontradas. Não só em termos materiais, como humanos, e mesmo em termos de dinâmica e organização das próprias atividades propostas à população reclusa ao nível da sua ressocialização e reintegração profissional.O presente estudo procura descrever o funcionamento das prisões, nomeadamente do EPC e do CEO.
