The last representative of tezkire tradition: İbnülemin Mahmut Kemal İnal

Türk edebiyatında XV. yüzyıldan itibaren görülmeye başlanan tezkireler, şairlerin biyografilerini ve eserlerinden örnekleri ihtiva eden edebî metinlerdir. Ayrıca köklü bir geçmişe sahip olan tezkire geleneği ve bu gelenek çerçevesinde kaleme alınan eserler, dönemin sanat, edebiyat ve edebî tenkit anlayışını yansıtmaları bakımından da önem arz etmektedir. İbnülemin Mahmut Kemal İnal ise bu edebî türün ve bu tür etrafında teşekkül eden geleneğin son temsilcisi olarak kabul edilebilir. Son Asır Türk Şairleri adlı eseri merkeze alarak İbnülemin'in biyografi yazma tarzını, edebî kişilik ve eser karşısındaki tavrını, dili ve üslubunu inceleyen bu çalışma Giriş, Sonuç, Kaynakça ve Ekler dışında üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş'te İbnülemin'e ve onun eserlerine dair bizden önceki çalışmalar ana hatlarıyla tanıtılmıştır. Birinci Bölüm'de yazarın hususi hayatının yanı sıra öğrenim ve çalışma hayatı anlatılmış, eserleri incelenmiştir. İkinci Bölüm'de kuramsal bir çerçeve oluşturmak maksadıyla birer kavram olarak tezkire ve edebiyat tarihi üzerinde durulmuştur. Üçüncü Bölüm'de ise Son Asır Türk Şairleri adlı eser, yapı ve içerik bakımından tahlil edilmiş; eserin tezkire geleneğindeki yeri ve önemine dikkat çekilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular Sonuç'ta sıralanmış; yararlanılan kaynaklar ise Kaynakça'da gösterilmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Türk Edebiyatı, Tezkire, İbnülemin, Biyografi, Tahlil Tezkires (collections of biographies), which began to be seen from the XVth century onwards in Turkish Literature, are literary texts containing biographies of poets and examples from their works. Also, the tezkire tradition, which has a long history, and the works written within the framework of this tradition are important in that they reflect the understanding of art, literature and literary criticism of the period. İbnülemin Mahmut Kemal İnal can be regarded as the last representative of this literary genre and the tradition that has formed around this genre.This study, which examines Ibnülem's biography style, his literary personality, his language and his style and his attitude towards his work through his work Son Asır Türk Şairleri, consists of three chapters except Introduction, Conclusion, References and Appendix. In the Introduction, previous studies on Ibnülemin and his works are outlined. In the First Chapter, the author's private life as well as his education and working life are explained and his works are examined. In the Second Chapter, the concept of tezkire and literary history are emphasized in order to form a theoretical framework. In the Third Chapter, the work Son Asır Türk Şairleri is analyzed in terms of structure and content; its importance and its place in the tezkire tradition are emphasized.
