Energiemonitor van de Nederlandse glastuinbouw 2008

De Energiemonitor 2008 brengt de ontwikkeling van de energie-input en -output, deenergie-efficiëntie, de CO2-emissie, het aandeel duurzame energie en de transitiepadenvan het Programma Kas als Energiebron in kaart tot en met 2008. De glastuinbouw kwam uit op 70% minder primair brandstofverbruik per eenheid product dan in 1980. De totale CO2-emissie nam toe tot 7,2 Mton. De CO2-emissie voor de teelt daalde die tot 5,2 Mton. Het aandeel duurzame energie ligt op 1,2%. Op 64% van het areaal wordt een warmtekrachtinstallatie gebruikt. De elektriciteitsproductie omvat 10% van de nationaleproductie. CO2 emissions for cultivation fell to 5.2 Mtonne.The share of sustainable energy is 1.2%. On 64% of the acreage, a combined heat andpower installation is used. Electricity production comprises 10% of the national production.Sustainable energy is produced on 46 holdings with 225 hectares of greenhouses.
