Abstract

The main objective of this thesis is to use the satellite ground station located on campus of ESEIAAT, Terrassa Ground Station, to receive and decode the messages transmitted by OPS-SAT, a nanosatellite built around the CubeSat standard, operated by the European Space Agency (ESA). To achieve this, TGS will be brought back to an operational state, since it has been unused for prolonged periods of time, and a remote control system will be implemented to facilitate its use. In addition, the theoretical design of a hardware upgrade that will allow the use of a single antenna to transmit and receive messages will performed, and the required components, located and purchased
