Scattered big trees play a main role in maintaining biodiversity in savannah‐like ecosytems. In this study we analyze the case of a remnant centenarian Cork oak (Quercus suber L.) population in the Doñana Biological Reserve (DBR, SW Spain), a Biosphere Reserve.
