Abstract

Regression Analysis: The Research on International Citizens Migration. The aim of this Bachelor’s thesis is to analyze citizen's migration depending on the collected data from "osp.stat.gov.lt" and "stats.oecd.org" sites. In this final work, we were using one of the statistical methods - regression analysis. The results showed that migration is a complicated process, which depends on various aspects. Immigration and emigration, are closely correlated with the country's international trade, which indicates the economic situation of Lithuania. Also, we found out, that immigration is strongly correlated with tourism, but we still need to do a further investigation because of the lack of data. In the case of multiple regression, we could not found any good models, that would fulfill all assumptions and explain more data of the dependent variable.
