Symptomatic manifestations of hysteria today: elements for a hystoric journey

Por tanto, la relación del psicoanálisis y la histeria se sostiene como una constante orientadora de las reflexiones clínico-teóricas de los psicoanalistas a lo largo del tiempo. Justamente, este es el marco de la interrogación que comanda el presente trabajo, pues las condiciones en las cuales se presenta la histeria hoy configuran un terreno fértil para la lectura psicoanalítica, no solo por las formas sintomáticas que adopta, sino también por lo que esta representa para el lazo social, el Otro, el discurso científico y el psicoanálisis mismo. Tomando como brújula el síntoma histérico, el recorrido muestra su evolución como cuadro clínico y diagnóstico en el panorama médico-psiquiátrico hasta la actualidad, para identificar ahí las dificultades con que se encuentra el discurso médico por cuenta del desalojo de la teoría del inconsciente como paradigma explicativo. La Bête Noire de la medicina mantiene hoy su enigma, pese a las diferentes nominaciones que intentan capturarla a nivel de la diagnosis clínica. Ello también supone establecer un panorama del desarrollo de la histeria en el edificio teórico-clínico del psicoanálisis en diferentes momentos, de Freud a Lacan si se quiere, hasta llegar a las formulaciones que sostienen psicoanalistas contemporáneos. Finalmente, se presenta la histeria en su estatuto de discurso: tesis derivada de la proposición lacaniana y cuya aportación permite formalizarla en tanto lazo social trans- histórico y, por tanto, constante y resistente. Therefore, the relationship between psychoanalysis and hysteria is sustained as a constant guide for the clinicaltheoretical reflections of psychoanalysts over time. Precisely, this is the framework of the questioning that this work commands, since the conditions in which hysteria occurs today is a fertile ground for psychoanalytic reading, not only because of the symptomatic forms it adopts, but also because of what it represents for the social bond, the Other, scientific discourse and psychoanalysis itself. Taking the hysterical symptom as a compass, the tour shows its evolution as a clinical and diagnostic picture, in the psychiatric medical panorama up to the present time, to identify there, the difficulties encountered by the medical discourse due to the eviction of the theory of the unconscious as explanatory paradigm; the Bête Noire of medicine, is held today enigmatic, despite the different nominations that try to capture it at the level of clinical diagnosis. This also means establishing a panorama of the development of hysteria in the theoretical-clinical building of psychoanalysis at different times; from Freud to Lacan if you will, up to the formulations that contemporary psychoanalysts hold about it.
