Del gran teatro de España: Calderón, la historia del teatro y la utopía nacionalista en 1940

This paper consists in an edition and study of an unpublished essay by theatre director Felipe Lluch, in which he argues for an ultranationalistic view of the Spanish Theatre from xvith to XXth Century. Calderón, and especially his autos sacramentales, play a key role in this thoroughly fascist attempt to explain fi ve centuries of Theatre in Spain.&nbsp
