El cuerpo extra-fines. Narrativas técnico-discursivas sobre cuerpo y sexualidad

Esta investigación explora cómo diferentes manifestaciones discursivas tienden a traducirse en normas y prácticas que nos afectan a tod*s, y con más fuerza aún a aquell*s cuyos cuerpos no se ajustan a la construcción socio-histórica y binomial de sexo y de género. Asimismo presenta y analiza diversas narrativas en forma interdisciplinaria, abordando diferentes discursos provenientes de la medicina, la sociología, la filosofía, la jurisprudencia, la literatura y la filosofía, para cuestionar aquellas prácticas por las cuales los cuerpos, la sexualidad y las identidades son violentamente normados.
This research explores how different discursive manifestations tend to translate into norms and practices that affect our bodies, and even more violently, those bodies that do not fit the socio-historical construction of sex and gender. The purpose of the research is to understand the way diverse discourses (from sociology, communication, medicine, law and literature) impinge our bodies and identities and shape them according to hegemonic norms of sex and gender. It makes a considerable criticism on the imposition of the dichotomous categories of male and female, explores de priorities and demands of the intersex community and gives an account on how the intersex movement is empowering to change body and sex politics.
