Vida social en el reino de Granada a través de sus arabismos (1491-1621): «(al)guadoc», «azalá», «leila», «macaber»

Este estudio se centra en el análisis histórico de cuatro arabismos característicos del reino de Granada desde finales del siglo xv hasta principios del siglo xvii: (al) guadoc, azalá, leila y macaber. Para ello, partimos de un corpus de estudio compuesto por documentos municipales y administrativos geográficamente vinculados al antiguo reino. El volumen de léxico de origen árabe que parte de dicha región durante al menos un siglo tras su reconquista, se presenta claramente diferenciado del de otras zonas peninsulares. Las razones que motivan el mantenimiento e introducción de este léxico se encuentran en el traspaso de ciertas instituciones administrativas nazaríes al nuevo orden cristiano y en la presencia de población morisca hasta el siglo XVII. The objective of this study is focused on the analysis of four characteristic Arabisms of the Kingdom of Granada from the end of 15th until the beginnings of the 17th century: alguadoc, azalá, leila and macaber. To do that, a base corpus composed by municipal and administrative documents linked to the ancient Nasrid Kingdom has been elaborated. The volume of Arab origin lexicon that departs from the said region is clearly differentiated from other peninsular areas. The reasons that motivate the maintenance and introduction of this kind of lexicon can be found in the transfer of some Nasrid administrative institutions to the new Christian order and in the presence of Moorish population until the 17th century.
