Research on Residue Levels of the Organochlorine lnsecticide in the Chalcalburnus Tariebi Samples Obtained from Van Lake

Bu çalışmada Van Gölü'nden avianan inci kefali balıklarında organik insektisitlerin kalıntı düzeyleri araştırılmıştır. 1994 ve 1995 yıllarında toplam 160 adet ineili kefal balığı örneklerinde organik klorlu insektisit olarak sadece heptaklor epoksit belirlenmiştir. Heptaklor epoksit balık etinde ortalama 0.0204 ppm olarak bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak, Van Gölü suyunun ve ineili kefal balığının (chalcalburnus tarichi) organik klorlu insektistlerle kontamine olmadığını, sadece heptaklor epoksitin düşük bir değerde bulunması gölün organik klorlu insektisitlerle kontaminasyonunun şimdilik sa­kıncalı boyutlara ulaşmadığını göstermektedir. Bu da insan sağlığı için bir tehdit oluşturmamaktadır
In this research, total one hundred and sixty fishes (chalcalburnus tarichi) were used in 1994 and 1995 years. and heptachlore epoksite was only determined as organochlorine insecticides in these experiments. Hep­tachlore epoksite levels in fish meat were found as 0.0204 ppm. As a result, Van Lake and fish (chalcalburnus tarichi) was not contaminated with organochlorine insecticides, even if there are some low levels of heptachlore epoksite. This would suggest that contamination of Van Lake with organochlorine insecticides is not significant, therefore it is not life threatening
