Styles of thinking and creating in organizational context: Differences according to professional position?

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the style of thinking and creating in professionals a pharmaceutical distribution company, in order to verify the existence of different styles according to gender, educational level and position held. Forty professionals, including 30 women and 10 men, aged 17 years and 35 years (M=24.5, SD=5.4), with high school education (n=14) and college (n=26) were divided into two groups, the first being formed by professionals working in the tax and accounting (n=20), and another group of professionals who hold positions in the sales (n=20).
