Abstract
- Through the written narrations provided by eyewitnesses of the events, which took place in Santafé de Bogota in July of 1810, we can discern many particulars of this important stage of the process of independence in Colombia. Of those witnesses, two hundred years ago, there are at least four, which remained anonymous and are known as the Anonymous Creole, the Anonymous from Santafé, the Anonymous Witness and the Eyewitness. But, who were these anonymous witnesses, who discovered their narrations, where are the original writings, who has published them? These are the questions I will try to answer through a bibliographic, hemerographic and archival review.
