Abstract

This paper intends to locate the participationof photographers in photo-cinematographicexpeditions related to the creation of the StudySection () of the Indigenous ProtectionService () in 1941. Having done this, thefocus will move to the , where these professionalswere identified as civil servants, includingthe members of the normative body ofthe indigenist policy, the National Council forthe Protection of Indians (¢£).
