The SMFMR in amorphous Fe-Co alloys

The SMFMR technique was used in order to determine the compositional dependence of saturation magnetostriction in Fe-Co amorphous alloys. The Young's modulus was measured and the value of (15.4 ± 0.2) × 10 10 N/m 2 was obtained for almost all the investigated compositions. The uniaxial in-plane magnetic anisotropy K u of the order of 10 4 erg/cm 3 (at 300 K) was obtained from the FMR data.
