Abstract
- The fire retardants were used in epoxy resin (EP) to get fire retardant EP, whose kinetic parameters activation energies (Ea) were calculated by Ozawa integral method and the Kissinger differential method. The results show that the correlation coefficient (R) is above 0.95, which shows good reliability of the two methods for solving Ea. E for the fire retardant foam is decreased by 40 kJ·mol-1, which shows that the fire retardant can catalyze decomposition and carbonization of EP.
