New techniques for analysis/synthesis of electrically large satellite antennas

Abstract: A novel Gaussian beam method, and a hybrid method, are developed for the efficient analysis of large reflector antenna systems, and large planar phased arrays, respectively. Several numerical results illustrating the speed and accuracy of these methods are described in this paper.
