On the effects of nucleon binding and correlations in deep inelastic electron scattering by nuclei

Abstract: The European Muon Collaboration (EMC) effect in 12C, 40Ca and 56Fe is calculated taking nucleon binding and correlations resulting from realistic many-body calculations properly into account. The effect of Q2-rescaling is also investigated.
