Liquid viscosities of methane and propane

The theory and calibration procedure for a cylindrical falling body viscometer is presented. Experimental viscosity data are given for liquid methane from −150°C. to the critical point and for liquid propane from −185° to +90°C. The maximum experimental error for methane data is ±8% and for propane data ±5%.
