Abstract

Yet, this condition of the cosmic system was still different from the world as it is today, since all of this diakosmesis was still unfit to bring about an alternation of day and night. For still the entire perichoresis was everywhere taking place around the one axis chosen in the beginning when Nous started cosmogony from that tiny district. Consequently, the circles described around that axis by the sun and the moon could only lie in the plane of the earth disk itself, and the orbits of the other stars were either in this very plane or parallel with it.
