Abstract

The electrical conductivity of (LiCl-KCl) eut. - CdCl 2 quasi-binary melts was measured over entire concentrations range and in a wide temperature span. The liquidus line of the system was plotted based on conductivity data. The equivalent conductivity and its activation energy were calculated. The results were interpreted in terms of coexistence and mutual influence of the complexes formed by the Li + and Cd 2+ cations.
