Abstract
- Sensorless sensing experiments of the plasma horizontal position have been carried out in the superconducting tokamak HT-7. The horizontal position is calculated from the vertical field coil current and voltage in two ways. The calculations are made focusing on the low frequency component and the ripple frequency component of the power supply. In the latter case, there is no drift problem and the error is lower than 2% of the plasma minor radius.
