Abstract

The integration technology of industrial robot and programmable logic controller (PLC) is widely used in the automation field of manufacturing industry, which has become a compulsory course in Colleges and universities. It is not enough to rely on the theoretical study in class. Therefore, this paper develops a simulation platform of automatic CNC loading and unloading production line to assist students in classroom learning. Its hardware consists of industrial robot hardware, PLC hardware and hardware peripherals; The software includes industrial robot software and PLC control software. The platform is based on 89C51 microcontroller. After the simulation, the code can be transferred to the corresponding real device. The results show that the combination of virtual simulation and practical verification can optimize the teaching resources, improve the teaching effect and improve the teaching quality. The platform is practical and closely around the engineering practice, which is conducive to the cultivation of students' comprehensive ability and innovation consciousness.
