Abstract: also to trace the history of the innovative changes that have taken place in the daughter languages. The innovations are treated under two rubrics: replacements, the more radical changes in which new stems have been substituted for those derived from the parent language; and accretions, the secondary changes in which new morphemes have been added to the stems. The independent pronoun paradigm offers a
