Cet ouvrage présente les résultats de la première grande étude de la langue de la presse française historique. Il a un double objectif : éclairer l’histoire du genre journalistique, et explorer ce qu’une étude de périodiques historiques peut apporter à la compréhension de l’histoire de la langue.
This book presents the results of the first major study into the history of language in the French press. It has a dual aim: to shed light on the history of the genre of journalism and to explore what the study of historical periodicals can bring to our understanding of the history of language.
