Abstract: Bone drilling is considered crucial in the implantation process. However, the heat generated during the drilling can lead to thermal damage and osteonecrosis. Therefore, the primary aim of this study is to assess the literature related to the effect of heating during dental drilling and the factors responsible for heat generation during the drilling procedure.
