Abstract

The problem of electrodynamic analysis and synthesis of compact microwave filter based on complex resonant transverse diaphragms in rectangular waveguide is solved. The proposed aperture of thin metal diaphragms is the rectangular window with two metal L-shaped ridges. In attempt to reduce the filter dimensions, the capacitive metal diaphragms are added instead of the quarter-wave invertors. The received band-pass filter has the solid multilayered metal-dielectric structure and possesses 10% pass-band and the 8 mm length.
