Abstract
- Lattice Boltzmann methods for axisymmetric problems based on the model of J. G. Zhou (Phys. Rev. E, 84, 036704 (2011)) have been implemented. With a predefined choice of parameters like the collision term, density, bulk modulus and with standard Zou-He boundary conditions, it is shown that several flow problems can be covered. The presented approach is useful for prediction of internal incompressible flow through axisymmetric geometric components of high relevance in automotive safety.Lattice Boltzmann methods for axisymmetric problems based on the model of J.
