Frequency Band Ratio Analysis of Dual-Band Microstrip Grid Array Antennas

Abstract
- The frequency band ratio of dual-band microstrip grid array antennas (MGAA) is analyzed in this paper. Three dual-band MGAAs with different long side numbers are simulated to obtain the relationship between high and low operation frequency. Based on simulated results of the three antennas, high and low operation frequency ratio has a linear relationship with the low and high frequency resonant length ratio. By using the relationship, it is easy to estimate high and low band operation frequencies of dual-bandMGAAs.
