Abstract

The present study compared the effects of three procedures one motional indicators (stress, anxiety and depression), quality of life and adherence to treatment in nine adults with Type2 diabetes. The participants were distributed into three conditions: Self- monitoring, Recall and Routine. All participants were evaluated at the beginning and at the end of the study, regarding the emotional indicators, through the Lipp Stress Symptoms Inventory (LSSI), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI); participants' quality of life was evaluated through the SF-36; and adherence to treatment was evaluated through glycated hemoglobin and self-reports.
