Abstract
- Beam propagation equations, rate equations of the excited states, and thermal conduction equation are numerically solved to investigate the laser-induced thermal effects on the laser propagation in nonlinear optical materials. The beam output power and profile of second harmonic waves are evaluated in quasi-phase-matched second-harmonic generation.
