Fractal analysis of orientation effect on K1c and K1scc

The anisotropic behavior of fracture toughness and stress corrosion cracking of materials was analysed by fractal geometry in this paper. The results indicate that the K1c and K1scc in the S-L, L-T and L-S orientations are different and obey K S−L 1c L−T 1c L−S 1c K S−L 1scc L−T 1scc L−S 1scc .
