Abstract

In the actual operating circuit, the surface discharge of the insulator will be affected by air humidity. In order to study the influence of air humidity on the surface discharge characteristics of insulators, this paper firstly obtains the reduced electron mobility by assuming the electron energy distribution function (EEDF), and then builds a two-dimensional ceramic based on the fluid-chemical reaction insulator discharge mixed model which includes 41 kinds of reactions andl9 kinds of particles. According to the above model, the air composition is combined with the air humidity, and the distribution characteristics of the surface electron density, potential and ion density of the insulator under different air humidity are given. Finally, the discharge parameters of the insulators under different air humidity are analyzed and compared.
