Abstract: A cross-linked thieno[2,3-f][1]benzothiole-4,8-dione-based conjugated polymer cathode was synthesized by facile direct arylation polymerization, which delivers a high specific capacity of 200 mA h g−1, excellent rate performance and stable cyclability.
