HIGH ENERGY MAGNETIC EXCITATIONS IN SINGLE DOMAIN HOMOGENEOUS ANTIFERROMAGNETIC γ-Mn(18%Cu) ALLOY AT 10 K

Abstract

Measurements of spin waves in homogeneous antiferromagnetic single domain fct γ-Mn(18%Cu) alloy at 10 K were performed up to energies of 82.7 meV yielding v=224±3 meV Å, Eg=7.8±0.2 meV and damping parameters Γ0=2 meV and Γ1=101.4±2.4 meV Å. There is a evidence on the anisotropy of the spin wave dispersion relation.
