Magnetic excitations in the longitudinal- and transverse-spin-density-wave phases of a Cr-0.18% Re alloy

Measurements of magnetic excitations are reported for a wide range of temperature of Cr-Re alloy in the incommensurate spin density wave region. It is shown that the rapid decrease of the excitation intensity with falling temperature below the Neel temperature arises mainly not from the spin waves but from other types of scattering smeared out around the (100) point.
