Dynamic white light holography using an optically addressed multiple quantum well spatial light modulator

Using achromatic gratings techniques we have written dynamic holograms on an optically addressed spatial light modulator with a temporally and spatially incoherent white light source. The resolution and depth-of-field of these holograms are theoretically derived and experimentally verified. We demonstrate writing speeds over an order of magnitude faster than video framing rates.
