Toward a Mainstream Psychology of Religion Beyond Poor Relation Status

The path that brought me to the psychology of religion says much about the precarious predicament of this specialist field in the German academic world, both then and now: it took me abroad, and it also led me to practical theology, or to be more precise, religious education (Religionspadagogik).
