Abstract
- The effects of tillage and mulch methods on ratio of germination, ratio of tillering, net photosynthesis and production of sugarcane were investigated. The treatments included conventional tillage, all-direction deep loosening, shallow tillage after deep loosening, plastic film mulch and cane leaf mulch. The results shown that the mulching had the notable effect on sugarcane production, the plastic film mulch could increase the sugarcane production, and the treatments of cane leaf mulch with various tillage methods could increase sucrose content of sugarcane.
