Abstract
- Analyses of thrombi of patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) showed, in addition to fresh thrombi, also a prevalence of relatively old thrombi. Old thrombi were present in up to 50% of patients with STEMI and associated with a worse prognosis. No data are available
