Abstract
- Compounds of the series Ln6ReO12, Ln=Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, and Lu, have been prepared by subsolidus reaction and are isotypic with Ln6MoO12, Ln6WO12, and Ln6UO12, crystallizing in space group R 3 with Z=3 for the R-centered setting. The magnetic moment per rhenium ion in Lu6ReO12 is 0.74(1)μB, and Yb6ReO12 orders antiferromagnetically below 2.15(10) K.
