Preferentially, it was used English language with the following keywords: medical termography, medical infrared images, thermographic assessment, thermography assessment e medical infrared imaging. It was followed the retrospective method, searching for research papers involving a window time of the last five years, from 2007 to 2012. It is noticed at a certai n level of detail, that thermography is being applied mainly at the following areas: orthopedic, odontology, surgery procedures, sports, oncology, cardiology, angiology, endocrinology, Forensic Medicine, hemodynamics, obstetric, physiotherapy and ergonomic.
