Abstract

A micro-Raman study of optical phonons in GaAs/InGaAs and InGaAs/InAs bilayer microtubes is presented. From the analysis of optical phonon frequencies the built-in mechanical strain in the microtubes was estimated and compared with theoretical predictions. (© 2009 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
